About Our Candles
Our candles are made with 100% pure beeswax and feature wooden wicks. Unlike paraffin candles, beeswax is all-natural, burns cleaner (no black soot), lasts 2-3x longer, and releases negative ions that purify the air. The wooden wicks create a soothing crackling sound like a mini fireplace.
Burn times vary by size:
- 4oz (Travel): 25-30 hours
- 8oz (Medium): 45-55 hours
- 12oz (Large): 70-80 hours
- 16oz (Statement): 90-100 hours
Yes! Beeswax is naturally hypoallergenic. Unlike paraffin candles that can release irritants, beeswax burns cleanly and actually helps purify the air by releasing negative ions that bind to dust and allergens. Our unscented Pure Beeswax candle is particularly good for sensitive individuals.
This white coating is called "bloom" and is a natural characteristic of pure beeswax. It's caused by the natural oils rising to the surface and is actually a sign of high-quality, pure beeswax. You can wipe it off with a soft cloth if desired, or leave it for a rustic look.
Candle Care
- Trim the wick: Before each burn, trim the wick to about 1/4" (you can use your fingers to snap off the burnt part)
- First burn: Allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges (2-4 hours) to prevent tunneling
- Burn time: Don't burn for more than 4 hours at a time
- Keep it level: Burn on a flat, heat-resistant surface away from drafts
If your wooden wick is having trouble staying lit, it's usually because the wick is too long or there's debris in the wax pool. Try these steps:
- Let the candle cool and harden
- Trim the wick to 1/8" - 1/4"
- Remove any debris from the wax pool
- Relight and ensure you're lighting the entire width of the wick

We accept returns within 30 days of purchase for unused, unopened items in their original packaging. If your candle arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with photos and we'll send a replacement at no charge.
