What that allergen list tells you that the candle label does not
Those eight names are not there as a warning. They are there because a personal care product sold into certain markets has to declare specific fragrance compounds once they pass a threshold. So the sprays and soaps show their hand.
Candles carry no such requirement in the United States. A candle can hold the same eight compounds and still print one word. That gap is the reason two products in the same scent family can look very different on paper while smelling nearly identical.

But mine is soy, so it is already the clean choice
Soy is a real step up from paraffin and nobody should pretend otherwise. Two things still deserve your attention.
Plenty of candles sold as soy are blends, and the label rarely says what shares the jar with the soy. Illume names its blend as soy-led plant waxes, which is better practice than most. How to burn a sweet fruity candle without wasting half of it
Sweet fruit and vanilla formulas are the ones people most often ruin, because they get lit for twenty minutes at a time while dinner cooks.
Trim the wick to a quarter inch before every burn. A long wick makes a tall smoky flame and drops soot onto the glass.
Let the first burn run long enough for the melted wax to reach the edge of the vessel. If you stop short, the wax remembers that ring and keeps burning down the middle, and you lose the outer wall for good. Three to four hours is the sweet spot for most sizes.
Keep the candle off a windowsill and away from a vent. Moving air pulls the flame sideways, which wastes fuel and blackens one side of the glass. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and stop burning when about a quarter inch of wax is left.
